Scare Tactics and New Friends
So Angel broke out of the outdoor kennel again today. And to add insult to injury, she also broke out of our backyard by way of tearing a hole in our privacy fence. Luckily we found her without incident because she only made it as far as around the neighbor's house and the field behind our back fence. I crated her and me and my roommate wired the kennel so well there's no way for her to get out.
I was a little aggravated but thankful everything and everyone was alright.
Once we got the kennel extra secured I decided it was time to let Jessabelle, my dog, and Angel meet. Just as a precaution, I put Angel's muzzle on, then let Jessabelle out into the backyard first. Jessabelle hadn't been in the backyard for over a week because she'd recently been spayed, but she was healing well so I decided it was time. I let Angel out of her crate in the garage and she went out into the backyard. At first neither dog noticed each other, but after a little while Jessabelle saw Angel and came over to investigate. I had both dogs loose because it's better to let them do their own thing without interference unless a problem arises. They sniffed each other pretty thoroughly, and then Jessabelle decided to try to get Angel to play.
Jessabelle antagonized Angel into chasing her by barking at her repeatedly, and once Angel decided to chase her, Jessabelle ran as hard as she could, circling back and either jumping over Angel or stopping to bark at Angel then running away again. Despite Jessabelle's crazy play tactics Angel never showed any aggressive tendencies, and she readily played chase until her energy level ran out. Once they calmed down a bit I was able to catch a couple videos.

I apologize in advance about quality, my phone does not take good videos. Ignore my roommate talking in the background.
